Local band plays first show since 1995 at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion

Drive Like Jehu was a post-hardcore band from San Diego active from 1990 to 1995. Formed by rhythm guitarist and vocalist Rick Froberg and lead guitarist John Reis following the breakup of their band Pitchfork, the band's lineup also included bassist Mike Kennedy and drummer Mark Trombino of Night Soil Man.

One show only is what they say and it happened August 31st 2014 at the Balboa Park Spreckels Organ Pavilion with Civic Organist Dr. Carol Williams.

Over 5000 people in attendance!

    Don't you think the person who filmed this video should be acknowledged somewhere in this article? Seems like any respectable news outlet would give credit where credit is due. Especially since this was such a large event in San Diego music.

      @The Ellsworth Being only a shared YouTube video, we have limited knowledge of who actually recorded the video. A click on the Information link in the YouTube display shows the poster as 'jasonfreakinbang'. We've added the credit to the article text.

    All types of music can be seen on this channel. If it's happening in San Diego (and if I like it), I'll try my best to be there to shoot it. Live concert footage, interviews, dogs in Halloween costumes - whatever. There are some videos that I uploaded only because I noticed it wasn't on YouTube already. I may not be a fan of some of the stuff (Neil Diamond) but I'm sure there's quite a few people who are. You're welcome.

      @T. E.P Jason bang is the man, he goes around and takes pictures and videos at local shows all the time... He also did a awesome photo shoot for our band zombie barbie... Keep doin what you do jason & thanks for the great jehu footage 🍻
