Adams Ave. Integrative Health and the Alternative Healing Network

Now at their new location at 3239 Adams Ave. in Normal Heights, Adams Ave. Integrative Health offers sliding-scale, affordable health services, including acupuncture, chiropractic services, massage, energy healing, and nutritional counseling at affordable rates based on residents' self-reported annual income.

Operating on the honor system, Adams Ave. Integrative Health doesn't ask for pay stubs or tax forms, and proceeds from the non-profit wellness center help fund the outlet’s free community outreach programs in City Heights and Southeastern San Diego.

The Founder and Executive Director of the Alternative Healing Network and Adams Ave. Integrative Health, Ryan Altman, talks more about the upcoming Alternative Hapy Hour and Healing Arts Fest on Adams, and how the Alternative Healing Network of San Diego is bringing massage, acupuncture, yoga, and other alternative therapries to some of San Diego's most diverse and economically-challenged communities.

The Alternative Healing Network of San Diego presents their next Alternative Happy Hour on Sunday, March 28th from 4 to 8pm at the Queen Bee Art and Cultural Center at 3925 Ohio St. in Normal Heights. A $10 dollar entry donation is requested.

The Healing Arts Fest on Adams happens Saturday and Sunday April 24th and 25th at Adams Elementary Park and Mansfield St., also in Normal Heights, featuring massage, yoga, dance, and an impressive roster of live music.
