REINS - A Therapeutic Horsemanship Program
Airdate: Sunday, January 27, 2013
Horses can play a big role when it comes to therapy for those with disabilities. REINS...Riding Emphasizing Individual Needs and Strengths...is a therapeutic horsemanship program that uses horses as a therapy tool. REINS has helped many overcome challenges in their lives to the point where they can live their lives now with a little more ease. The benefits of this kind of therapy is both physical AND mental. Joining me this morning to talk about their program and its benefits is Executive Director Debbie Shinner, Program Director Shauna Jopes and Development Coordinator Jennifer Gambrell.
