February is American Heart Month. With that comes the tenth anniversary of the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women campaign to raise awareness of heart disease among women. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. The symptoms of heart disease can be different in women and men and are often misunderstood. Joing me today to talk about the symptoms and warning signs of heart disease and stroke and to talk about the Go Red For Women campaign is American Heart Association volunteer and American Heart Association San Diego Division Board President, Dr. Eunice Sanchez-Mata and UC San Diego Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center cardiologist and American Heart Association volunteer, Dr. Anna McDivit.
