Living Better in San Diego

Braille Institute - San Diego Center

Airdate: Sunday, January 6, 2013

January is National Braille Literacy Month, so I invited some folks from the Braille Institute in San Diego to join me to talk about their programs and services and what they do for the visually impaired and blind in San Diego County.  The Braille Institute is dedicated to advancing their mission and philosophy of assuring that blindness and sight loss does not keep those men, women and children in San Diego County from leading enjoyable and fulfilled lives.  Joining me today is Independent Living Skills instructor Rick Barrera and volunteer instructors Juan Hernandez and Joshua Loya.
