The Chargers and the San Diego Blood Bank are gearing up once again for one of the community’s longest running and most successful life-saving events of the year; Chargers Blood Drive XXXIV.  This year’s day-long event presented by the San Diego County Credit Union, will take place at the Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley onTuesday, November 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Parking is free for donors.

All persons will be charged a $5 entry fee ($1 for children 2 to 16 years of age; children under 2 are
free) for the Chargers Blood Drive and in return will receive a Chargers commemorative wristband.
Blood donors will be eligible to receive a refund after they donate, if they choose, or they may
choose to donate the money toward a new bloodmobile.
Blood donors who complete the donation process will receive priority placement in the autograph
line.
All blood donors will receive a limited edition Chargers Blood Drive XXXIV long-sleeve T-shirt.
One lucky participant will drive off in a brand new Honda CRV, donated by the Honda Dealers of
San Diego County, which will be given away at the Chargers Drive at 5 p.m.

After you donate, stay to enjoy food, refreshments, entertainment and the chance to collect autographs from Chargers players and Charger Girls.  Participants who do not plan to donate blood, but would still like to meet the Chargers and enjoy the festivities at the Town and Country, will be charged a $5 entry fee ($1 for children; children under 2 are free).  Blood donors may request their admission price be refunded after they donate.  

Once again, the highlight of the day’s festivities will be the annual Chargers Family Fashion Show, beginning at 5:30pm, featuring several Chargers players and their families sporting wonderful fashions provided by local retailers.

The San Diego Blood Bank will also provide donors the opportunity to secure a coveted Chargers Blood Drive XXXIV T-shirt by donating the week before the drive during a special Chargers Mania Blood Drive at all San Diego Blood Bank donor centers and bloodmobiles.  These donors will receive a voucher that may be redeemed at the Chargers Blood Drive for a t-shirt and a wristband for the autograph line.
