Hard not to love a smart ass.  To me this is what the Strokes should sound like today, had they not become super huge, over produced and way into their own egos.  Not to say their new stuff stucks, it just lacks that raw angst that only a bottom of the barrel up-start punk band can convey.  Enter Howler, for lack of a better description, kids from Minneapolis who started a punk band out of sheer boredom.  Listen to "Back of Your Neck", check out the whole album America Give Up and if you get the time...go here...you'll thank me when your sides stop hurting.
