The music industry is intouble once he gets he album finished because it could set the bar to high for anything to match.

Very rarely do I get to just grab a CD out of the stack and instantly feel a connection with the music. Since I picked Arrow from Heartless Bastards I haven't been able to put it down. The band is from Cincinnati Ohio, but don't expect anything like the Black Keys. To me their vibe feel more like early King of Leon music with a femal lead. Let's see if you got hooked like I did.

Weekly Obsession

From the first moment that I heard Josh Tillman was breaking off from Fleet Foxes I was interested in Father John Misty. When he dropped this first track on the web earlier this week, I knew my anticipation was worth the wait…see what you think.

This week was a track that I got last month, but was too busy putting together all the CD's for A-Z to listen to..
Gotye (pronounced Go-Tee-Yeah) a track called "Somebody That I Used to Know" from the album Making Mirrors. If you're curious as to who that angelic voice is halfway thru the track is, it's New Zealand's own R&B star Kimbra.

I'm sure you've heard many of us talking about the amazing time we had at the Belle Brigade show at the Belly Up just a few days ago. Since it was sold out and a lot of people missed out on getting to see them live...here's a small taste of what they did for us during soundcheck. I know it doesn't make up for not being there...but it's close.
